New Organs.
To design a new organ much care and time is needed. At first, the local organist, together with the community and the organ expert lay down the general set-up. In most cases a financial budget has to be kept to. Our essential objective is to create a work which optimally corresponds to the conditions of space, acustics an musical demands.
- It will be presented in a historical look if an organ brochure and ancient pipe material exist and if both can be taken over.
- It will have a contemporary look if it is newly built for the respective place.
We always play the part of a champion of the instrument. Besides the fact that the organ must have optimal dimensions its technique must have a construction which is as simply as possible workable and therefore durable; the pipework must offer all opportunities for an optimal development of the single stops and for the utmost variety of mixtures until plenum.
